Project: Minimal Storage in Kitchen
Client Goal: Finding storage solutions for a small pantry and creating a highlighted tea area.
This lovely client was feeling overwhelmed by a crowded pantry and had trouble finding everyday essentials - especially her large tea collection, which she loves but could never quite access easily. She hoped for a more functional kitchen that made her daily routines smoother and less frustrating.
We reworked key areas, moving backup items like seasonal mugs and Costco-sized products to more intentional spots, which freed up space to create a custom tea zone right in the main cupboard. With over 30 types of tea, we used a creative, low-cost system of labeled Ziploc bags to neatly “file” each variety, making it easy to see, grab, and put away.
Less-used categories like noodles and baking were grouped into bins and placed on lower shelves, with overflow and backups stored visibly behind, so nothing gets forgotten again.
The result? A thoughtfully arranged kitchen that reflects how she and her husband actually live and makes their daily tea ritual (and cooking!) so much easier to enjoy.
