Terms of Service.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Sol Havn Organizing Co. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking with us, you agree to the following:

1. Services Offered

We offer:

  • On-site decluttering & organization

  • Virtual decluttering & organizing coaching

  • Move-out decluttering & packing prep

  • Move-in unpacking & organizing

  • Paper clutter/file system setup

Services may be provided with or without you present, depending on your comfort and consent.

2. Booking & Cancellations

Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement.

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $75.00 cancellation fee or 50% of the scheduled service, whichever is greater.

  • Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in termination of service at our discretion.

Sol Havn Organizing Co. reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to illness, emergencies, inclement weather, or unsafe conditions at the service location. We’ll always communicate changes with as much notice as possible.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

We accept e-transfer, credit card, and cash.

Using Klarna:
Payment plans are available through Klarna by request at the time of estimate approval. If you’d like to use Klarna, please let us know in advance so we can issue your invoice through Squarespace instead of QuickBooks Online.

Late Payments:
Invoices outstanding more than 14 days from the issue date will accrue interest at 2% per month (26.82% per annum), compounded monthly on the full outstanding balance, including any previously accrued interest and applicable taxes, until paid in full.

If you’re ever experiencing difficulty with payment, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always happy to work with you to find a solution before late fees or service pauses are necessary.

After 30 days of non-payment, and in the absence of communication or a payment plan, services may be paused and your account may be referred for further action. Any fees associated with collection may be added to the outstanding balance.

Service Fees:

  • Standard hourly rate: $75.00, with a 2-hour minimum per session

  • Optional second organizer: $55.00/hour

  • Travel fees apply outside Canmore and Dead Man’s Flats, please inquire for current rates.

4. Working Without Client Present

With your consent, we may work on-site without your presence. In such cases:

  • You will provide necessary access

  • You agree to waive liability for property loss or damage not caused by gross negligence

  • We will follow the scope and guidelines discussed in advance

5. Product Purchases

When purchasing supplies (e.g. bins, baskets):

  • We will suggest items and await your approval

  • You will only be billed for approved and used products

  • Unused items will not be charged

Products are typically billed after service is complete.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide access to the home and relevant information

  • Participate in decisions as needed (unless delegated)

  • Communicate any changes prior to the session

7. Tools & Platforms

We use trusted third-party tools including:

  • Acuity Scheduling (booking)

  • Jotform (Client Services Agreement)

  • Squarespace & QuickBooks Online (invoicing)

  • Klarna (payment plan processing)

By using our services, you consent to communication and payment via these platforms.

8. Communication Consent

By submitting a form or booking services, you agree to receive emails and/or text messages related to:

  • Appointment reminders

  • Invoicing

  • Service updates

  • Promotions (only if opted in)

You may unsubscribe from SMS at any time by texting STOP or contacting us.

9. Liability

Sol Havn Organizing Co. is not responsible for:

  • Client emotional response to decluttering

  • Pre-existing property damage

  • Final decisions regarding what stays or goes

You are responsible for all item decisions unless otherwise arranged.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Revisions will be posted with an updated date.
